I was born and raised in Pasadena, California. When I was a child, I loved going to the movies and playing video games. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts in Biology, but after watching The Nightmare Before Christmas and, especially, the making of featurette, I wanted to pursue a career in visual effects, which resulted in a second degree in Graphic Design.

Some of the artists that influenced me are Dave Mckean, Brom, Gris Grimly, and Tim Burton. When I am not in front of the computer, I enjoy hiking and photography.
